Since NGS ‘26 wrapped in August, the conversations that began in Newport have kept going.
REGENT’s Demo Day was a remarkable day of momentum. REGENT opened its manufacturing facility and flew Viceroy and Squire before more than 600 guests, with ferries carrying attendees onto Narragansett Bay for a front-row view of both Seagliders performing float, foil, and fly.
In September, Ben duPont and the Chartline VC team brought together founders, operators, and investors in Delaware for two days of connection and insight. The gathering opened with Ben’s acclaimed Non-Obvious Dinner, continued the next morning with pickleball and golf at the historic DuPont Country Club, and concluded with an unforgettable tour of the du Pont family estate, dating back to the 1800s. Jim McKelvey, Co-Founder of Square, was among the inspirational speakers.
Back on land, Brett Johnson hosted NGS guests in the Owner’s Suite at the new Centreville Bank Stadium as Brown faced Harvard under the lights.
On October 6, Dimensional hosted a powerful evening with Senator Bill Bradley at the Ritz-Carlton in New York. His reflections on leadership, teamwork, and long-term thinking in investing were shaped by a lifetime defined by purpose and accomplishment.
