Practice makes perfect. For many fleets that is an individual team activity but for the it looks a little different. This weekend the fleet is hosting the annual IC37 Kickoff practice weekend.

For day one the focus was on boat handling. Class coach Moose McClintock emphasized the value of sharpening crew choreography early in the season.

Friday June 5, 1700 deadline to submit official entry form, entry fee, and rating.

Wednesday June 10, 1700 deadline to submit late entries.

Thursday June 11, 1800 deadline to submit entries for The Rolex Cup.

Friday June 12, 1800 deadline to submit entries for The Great Corinthian Trophy.

Sailors from around the world came to New York Yacht Club this weekend to compete in the 2026 NYYC Women’s 2v2 Team Race. The competition was tight throughout the event, with many races coming down to the finish to determine the winner. Congratulations to St. Francis Yacht Club for taking home the win for the third year in a row 🏆

St. Francis Yacht Club are your 2026 NYYC Women’s 2v2 Team Race Champions! The team delivered a dominant performance throughout the regatta. While weather conditions prevented race officials from getting off more racing this weekend, St. Francis made the most of every opportunity on the water. Congratulations 🏆

Mother nature had other plans today for the ten teams competing in the 2026 New York Yacht Club Women’s 2v2 Team Race. A northerly surge of about 45 knots combined with low temperatures made the organizing authority decide to keep all teams on shore for today.

Racing is scheduled to begin at 0900 tomorrow.
