We have some exciting additions to our Christmas in Newport Calendar.
WADK 1540 AM radio is holding their 24th Annual Christmas Concert at the Newport Marriott on December 15th at 7:00 p.m. Wonderful Holiday music and give aways all for free but please bring canned goods for the Martin Luther King Center and help fill the food pantry for the less fortunate.
The Newport Historical Society is holding additional History Tours on the days between Christmas and the New Years. Holiday Lantern Tours, Rogues and Scoundrels, Creative Survival and Legends and Lore are all topics to be explored on these unique walking tours.

Each year the Thompson Middle School students perform at the Opening Ceremonies of Christmas in Newport. The students really missed performing this year. They have not been able to meet as a group but are still working hard on their instruments and music. They have created a socially distance video for your enjoyment. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from all the the students and Christmas in Newport.
