Here ye, Here ye, Here ye!

The 2026 Perry County Fair is looking for a new Fair Queen to succeed our last year's Queen, Lila Kretzing. Any young lady, between the ages of 16 and 20 by June 1st, 2026, who is a resident of Perry County, PA, who is also single and not married, who is not a former winner, etc., is welcome to enter for a chance to represent Perry County locally and go on to the State Level at the Pennsylvania State Association of County Fair's Annual Convention in Hershey, PA in January of 2027.

The rules are in the fair book on the fair's website and on this Facebook post.

For those who enter antiques in the fair, we have added or brought back items to each section in the antique's department; like an adze in "Grandpa's Workshop;" newspapers, buttons, pocket notebooks, and plates in "Perry County Advertising Memorabilia;" dolls, tea sets, and lunch boxes in "Yester Year Toys;" etc. Be sure to look in the fair book at the fair's website to see what antiques you would like to enter in the Perry County Fair. We'll keep you posted when the printed books will be out so you can pick one or a few up.

For those who are reading the fair book on the fair's website, on page 35Y, people can enter antique canning jars; whether clear or colored. "Colored" was misspelled with "covered."
