One of our favorite sequences from last years Ocean Rodeo caught by .d.west .

LA County Lifeguard had just finished paddling 2.5 miles, running 4.5 miles and then paddling another 2.5 miles when a large shorepound set came in right as she was about to stand up to get out of the water. At the very end of the race…the rodeo showed up for her and she handled it very well. Her coworker grabbed her board to make sure it didn’t hit the sand and then she picked it up and crossed the finish line with the biggest smile of the day.

This Saturday’s surf won’t be like last year, but come test your luck at the Rodeo…we promise it will put a smile on your face and bring you satisfaction. Be like Camille…it’s Rodeo Time!
