Music filled the streets of downtown Newnan last weekend as the city’s second annual PorchFest transformed scores of porches into concert stages.

A year after the inaugural event exceeded expectations with an attendance of more than 10,000 people, the grassroots musical festival’s second iteration drew an even larger crowd, with an estimated 12,000 people turning out to watch more than 70 musical acts perform an assortment of genres, from country and rock to swamp-soul and jazz.
