Join us tonight as we continue planning for another great year and work through our fair scholarship selections.

🚨 ANNOUNCEMENT: Avery Ag Events Coming Soon! 🚨

We’re excited to announce that Avery Ag Events will soon be coming to the new Avery County Ag Arena at Heritage Park!

Our goal is to bring more agricultural and western events to Avery County, and we’re currently working on plans to host:

🐄 Ranch Sorting
🐄 Team Penning
🤠 Roping Events

These events will take place alongside the Avery County Rodeo Showdown happening July 24 & 25!

We’ve set several event dates this season, and we expect to announce soon which specific events will take place on each date, along with times and details.

As we get closer, we will also be looking for a few volunteers to help make these events happen. If you love agriculture, horses, cattle, or just want to help bring something great to our community, we’d love to have you involved!

The Avery A&H Fair has some exciting new things in the works, and we’re working hard to grow the fair into something even bigger and better for our community.
But we can’t do it alone.
We’re looking for good people who care about agriculture, youth programs, and the future of the Avery County Fair to help us bring these ideas to life. Whether you’ve been involved with the fair for years or have never helped before, we’d love to have you join us.
You don’t need experience — just a willingness to help and a passion for keeping this tradition strong for the next generation.
If you’ve ever wanted to be part of helping shape the future of the fair, now is the time.
