Today we share some very sad news with our fair family. Many of you know the iconic monster truck that everyone looks forward to seeing each year at the GDS Fair, not just as a display, but as part of the memories that make our fair special. That truck was proudly brought to us every year by Mike Santulli. owner of M&J Tire in Lake Ariel.
Mike wasn’t just someone who brought a truck, he was a dedicated supporter who participated in our truck pulls and car shows and was a familiar, friendly face at the fair for many years. When people thought about the fair, many pictured that monster truck and the excitement it brought and that was because of Mike’s passion and generosity.
Unfortunately, we learned that Mike has passed away. The GDS Fair would like to send our deepest sympathies, thoughts, and prayers to Mike’s family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be greatly missed, and his legacy will forever be a part of our fair.
