PlumFest -the Plum Island Porch Festival, featuring island-wide music showcasing local musicians. Welcome to PlumFest - the Plum Island Porch Festival!

On Saturday, September 13, 2024, Plum Island will be awash with music as local residents open their porches, decks and patios to a variety of musicians and bands, and we invite you all to come join us for a magical, musical celebration on the Island. One of our very own, Jane "Lady Chardonnay" Bonus, was featured on the Price is Right this Spring and she WON BIG!! Because she is such a huge supporter of , she is donating a VERY SPECIAL item for us to auction off at our Half Way to PlumFest fundraiser on June 14th at the RipTide Cafe and Bar Plum Island .pi from 2-7. MARK YOUR CALENDARS for our long-awaited Half-way to PlumFest fundraiser! Join us June 14th from 2-7 at the RipTide Cafe and Bar Plum Island . We will have raffle items, a 50/50 raffle, and your first peak at our merch! This year we have stickers, T-shirts, and Hats, here are the winning designs!

We have THREE WINNERS of our art contest this year - one of our special sticker series, one for t-shirts and one for hats. Harlynn Collins was our sticker winner. Dara Jacobsen was our hat winner.

Today, we are thrilled to announce that we will make our official T-shirts for 2026 and other merch of this winning artist's contribution. Please join us in congratulating Sarah Hunter on her winning entry.

A bit about Sarah: “Sarah recently relocated from Denver to Plum Island with her husband, Rudy Rodriguez, and they’ve quickly fallen in love with the beautiful landscape and incredible island community. They made the move to support Sarah’s role as a Digital Asset Manager at New Balance.
Sarah earned her BFA with a concentration in Drawing from the University of Florida and continues to explore creative pursuits, including studio pottery, crocheting, and design projects for family and friends. She also enjoys running and regularly joins the Plum Island Run Club events.
She is honored to have her design chosen for this year’s PlumFest and can’t wait to get out and enjoy the music and celebration!”

A bit about Dara: “I’m a native New Englander, born and raised on the North Shore, and now living in Essex. The ocean and the beach have always been a huge part of my life and continue to inspire my creativity. I spend as much time as I can wandering the shoreline, collecting driftwood, and enjoying the sand and surf with my dog, Pocket. Many of my creative ideas are rooted in the textures, colors, and natural beauty of the coast.”

We are thrilled to announce that we will make a special sticker series of this winning artist's contribution. Please join us in congratulating Harlynn Collins, of Danville, California, on her fun entry. We know you're all going to want these stickers! A bit about Harlynn: "On January 1, 2025, 8-year-old Harlynn Collins ran across the beach off 17th street and leapt into the cold, gray Atlantic Ocean with a Polar Plunge crew. That was a terrible decision, but with her hands wrapped around a steaming hot chocolate and laughing by a fire with her friends, she fell in love with Plum Island. She doesn’t have Plum Island sand between her toes, but she has the Plum Island community in her heart." CONGRATULATIONS, Harlynn and thank you for your fun entry! We can't wait to have your stickers EVERYWHERE!

TOMORROW IS THE DEADLINE! Enter to have YOUR design on the 2026 PlumFest t-shirts, stickers, and swag! Entries are due by Midnight on May 1st and should be submitted to [email protected]. The winning design should:
🎶 Capture the heart and soul of PlumFest, an island-wide celebration of live music and community. Recognize that "island" does not mean tropical and palm trees, but rather Plum Island and the beauty we have here
😎 Be one that reproduces well on a t-shirt and sticker (simpler graphic design; can be reduced to 3 colors or less), and include our Plum Fest logo (see our profile pic, can be square or flat line like our cover photo). It is OK if the colors are different, choose your own!
👌 Be at least 3500px wide and 300 DPI
🌊 Sent to us in the program, it was created and/or as a jpg
🫶 Tell us about you and your design, and your attraction to PlumFest
