805 Thousand Oaks Grand Prix

Thanks to everyone who came out and raced this weekend Mike and I would like to pay a special thanks to the people who worked to make this happen, especially Jan Luke who is simply the best in the business at handling bike registration.

Thanks to all those who volunteered at the event, including Tina, Taylor and Nicole Burch, Ed & Heidi Morris, Elva Rogers, Mark Amendola, Fred Hoblit, Gavin and Andrea Rogers, Nicole Leroux, Jaycee Cary, Joe Camacho, Irene van den Broek, and many others.

Not least I would like to thank my wife Dara Rogers and my daughters Clare and Molly for helping out all weekend and for putting up with having a bike race on their birthday!

Bike races do not happen without sponsors and we thank them very much, and will make a separate post with specific thanks for all of them.

Much of the fence is up and the stage is built!
We will have a heat protocol in place tomorrow to make sure the racers are taken care of. We will have water available to spray the racers and will work to allow feeding in the longer races.
Please come out and race and if you can’t race please come volunteer and watch! It’s going to be a great day of racing!
