Today, we extend our deepest gratitude to all veterans and military families for their profound sacrifice and extraordinary service to our country.

We are excited to share that the 4th Annual Stars & Strides Delaware 5K and Family Fun Day was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who sponsored, donated, volunteered, and participated in any way. With your help, we have raised over $100,000 since 2022 to support our local heroes.

We’re proud to welcome Aetna Hose, Hook & Ladder Company as a new beneficiary of the 4th Annual Stars & Strides Delaware 5K Fun Run and Community Event!⭐️🧑‍🚒 Since 1888, this volunteer fire and EMS company has kept the Greater Newark area safe.

Last year, Aetna HHL responded to over 9,970 EMS calls and 3,786 fire calls. Your support helps them purchase new equipment, fund training, and cover operating costs for their dedicated volunteers.

The Bloom Energy Stars & Strides 5K is proud to benefit the Delaware National Guard Youth Foundation (DNGYF), supporting programs that develop leadership, discipline, and resilience in Guard youth.

From summer camps to scholarships, DNGYF strengthens the families of those who serve, empowering the children of 2,700 Delaware National Guard members.

This Veterans Day weekend, the Bloom Energy Stars & Strides 5K is directly funding the critical mission of Stop Soldier Su***de (SSS), the only national nonprofit focused solely on reducing military su***de, with an aggressive goal to lower the rate by 40% by 2030.

Your registration supports their ROGER wellness service, providing 100% free, confidential virtual counseling and crisis intervention to service members and veterans. Last year, our contribution covered over 400 hours of su***de-specific clinical support, including in Delaware.
