CSI Orchestra doing well this semester, though we're during covid pandemic. Zooming along...

My website is live and shows some of my work at the various S.I. schools, where I coach the high schoolers.

csi orchestra is starting up again. Please let your students know. We'll be studying music of the Viennese School. We have plenty of money to afford private tutors, guest lecturers, etc. for the students and to make this semester worthwhile and fun (I dare say...:)

We plan on starting mid Feb. and even a bit later. Please email me if you have questions (or message me and I'll respond asap).

CSI Orchestra is starting Oct. 15. Please email me at [email protected] to find out more. We have a special Humanities NY grant to enable students to coach with guest profs from other schools and to learn Jewish-Arab music and history. This semester will be a special humanities-based project and will be very different than what students normally expect when going to school orchestra. Come join us this semester and I hope to see some familiar faces:)

CSI Orchestra is starting up for fall 2020. Please email/call me if you're interested. Free college elective credit and a wonderful way to get some awesome experiences. Humanities NY is funding us with a project for the Middle East (with related music), we will have pros joining us, we will have coaches and guest profs. from other schools helping out. Looking forward to seeing some of you back for another exciting semester.

Dear Students, Please check your email so that you can log into Blackboard to complete your online assignments. So far, only a few students have been diligent in completing all of the homework. Please let me know if there are issues concerning logging in or if you need me to email you the assignments. Finally, I need to schedule a zoom coaching with you, if we haven't already. Bravo winners of the strings competition. We look forward to having the previous year's winner, Noshi Norris, performing Bach's A Minor violin concerto with us on May 17.

First Orchestra SP 20 meeting: Tuesday, February 25th at 6 p.m. at CSI, Bldg. 1P-120 (recital hall). Let me know if you have questions. It will be very exciting with lots of great rep, and with our previous year's competition winner playing Bach's A Minor violin concerto. Hope to see many familiar faces soon:)
