It looks like dancing will be delayed for another session. Metro Baptist Church has only virtual worship. There is no indication when the church will reopen to physical gatherings.

Who knew? There's an official panda tartan created for the Edinburgh Zoo! 🐼 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Edinburgh Zoo opened to the public 1913. In 2011, to celebrate the arrival of a breeding pair of pandas, the Zoo commissioned The Edinburgh Zoo Panda tartan.
Designed by Kinloch Anderson, the design was inspired by the Zoo’s founder Thomas Gillespie. In order to give the design a direct link to The Edinburgh Zoo’s heritage, the Gillespie Tartan was the starting point for this design. The main colours of the tartan are black and white, directly representing the Pandas and grey shades have been added to soften the tartan as well as to convey the gradation of colour from black to white, as seen on the Panda’s fur. Green has also been included to represent the pandas' favourite food, bamboo.

Dancing at Scotia has been canceled through the end of June. The Exec Board will make a decision on summer dancing in a few weeks.

Scotia Dances has canceled classes for the remainder of March. Towards the end of the month we will reevaluate for April. Please check back for updates, and in the meanwhile take care of yourself.

We had a great night at Scotia on Monday night. The beginner class got thru "Hooper's Jig" successfully and the experienced class breezed thru "John of Bon Accord" in a seven couple set.

Don't forget that the Halloween Party is at the NY Branch class on Thursday. Dig out your best costumes folks.
