We rarely post (working on that - social media is hard!), but when we do it’s for a good reason!

We are clearing out all of our current inventory to make room for a new version of The Golden Purls! This means regular shop updates with colors that you can easily pair together. Variegated skeins are SO FUN, but sometimes you need a palette with both variegated and tonal options to get your project looking just right! We’ll still be stocking our most popular colors, as long as you keep loving them - but our drops will now become limited edition colorways. So if you see it and love it, add it to cart! It’s time to grab that yarn!

Kits are now live for the Take Along Shawl, pattern by ! This kit includes two skeins of our DK Tweed in Hit Damn! or I'll Get the Cheesecake (top right). We also have Worsted kits available for To the Moon, Ma (lower right) along with the pattern! Helaina's sample is knitted in Hot Damn! and she has graciously adapted her pattern to work with our DK Tweed line. All kits come with a physical printout of the pattern and 15% of your purchase will go to the . A total win-win and for a cause that we know is close to many of our Purls' hearts. Don't like our kit choices? Feel free to add any two skeins of DK or Worsted to your cart and we'll create a kit for you!

She's a bestseller for a reason!! We know how much our Purls love Back in St. Olaf, so we are planning to have plenty ready for anyone visiting us at the Garden State Sheep Breeders Festival this weekend in Lambertville, NJ! We'll have plenty of other favorites in tow as well as some new ones that haven't seen the festival world just yet! Will we be seeing you there??

KITCHEN KITS ARE STOCKED in the shop! Katie whipped up another beauty just in time for her birthday today! We are so happy that she made such amazing use of our kitchen tablecloth minis set and paired with an old favorite colorway, Frickin Frugal.The kits consist of 2 full skeins of Frugal in single ply, and 6 tablecloth minis. All that's left to do is snag Katie's pattern on and get knitting!! We'll be in knitting hibernation mode this weekend and suggest you do the same 🧶

Today we celebrate the joy and heart that she brings to the Golden Girls, especially when she catches us off guard and calls Blanche a bitch 👌. Off-screen, Betty is a national treasure, advocating for the rights of animals and humans alike, and doing so for almost the entirety of her life. While all colors are on sale today, may we recommend you treat yourself to a Betty-inspired color? Perhaps Empty Headed Mary Poppins Knockoff, Rose Hand Me That Newspaper, or He Melts My Haagen Dazs? Pattern testing is a great way to set a deadline for samples crochet/knitting, let me tell ya. I zipped through this sweater because I knew disappointing my crochet idol was NOT AN OPTION. Brace yourselves for the release of the pattern on 12/15! This is a worsted weight Tunisian crochet sweater that I made with To The Moon Ma; Love Ya, Pussycat; and I'm Not Wearing Shoulderpads (from top to bottom). Something about the pinky magenta and the variegated teal screams GGs to us! Two skeins of each was all I needed for a size large and we have each color in stock if you also need this tunic in your life!!
