Today I am asking for your support once again. Those of your who supported Keith's 5K for fourteen years, helped to fund many scholarships. I am asking that you support the two families who are now mourning, the senseless loss of their sons, brothers, husband father etc. Please Please Please support this go fund me, as you did Keith's race. Money will not return their family member, however it is a means of showing your support at this terrible time. In addition their lives will be forever marred by this event. No amount is too small or too large. Please include Ferguson LOD (line of duty) in your post I hope to encourage everyone to show their support. As a line of duty parent, every good deed improves our despair. Thank you for your support of Keith's race and the benefit it provided for many NYPD offspring. Please do the same again.
Thanks a million.

Last night we tragically lost one of our own in the NYPD - Police Officer Jason Rivera. As we mourn his death, we want to come together to show his family all the support they deserve during this trying time. I personally worked with Jason in the 32 Precinct and all I can say is that he was an abso....

Thank you, to all who attended the dedication of Keith's bench in the Steinhardt Maple Collection at the New York Botnical Garden in
the Bronx on his 56th birthday on Sunday August 8th. Our ever supportive Blue family. Chiefs Kammerdenner and Fox (ret). Sgt Patrick Whelan (ret) believe me, nothing happens without this angel man being present. Det Tracey Jones. My truck 7 sons, Chief Yee, who served with Keith and is still serving. The fabulous singer from the Ceremonial Unit, Walter and Sylvia Simon friends for 52 + years. How could that be, we met as toddlers!! Dave and Betsy Freeth who traveled from their home in the Texas hinterlands to be present. Lisa Sifre the NYBG point person, who selected the bench in my absence due to covid, and arranged the entire event. Dave Isaksen truck 7 retired, who pitched the idea on one of our visits to the Garden. Robert Zajak, my ever present hangour pal. The ever beautiful and thoughtful Adriene Holder, for the lovely bouquet
flowers left behind to grace the bench.

The entire Cunningham/Ferguson group thank each and every one of you. Let it be known, I am the most grateful parent on the planet. And yes this is the very last command performance related to Keith, unless I win the lottery. Then yet again your presence will be requested as I will be naming a building for him. I love you all hugs and kisses. Keith's MomπŸ™πŸ˜πŸ˜˜πŸ₯°πŸŒ·

Hoping Chief Martine Materasso NYPD's fabulous action chick, quintessential professional, wife, and most of all Mother had the very best Mother's day ever. Those of you who have had the pleasure of meeting her know of what I speak! One of the best chiefs in THE best police department on this planet. I salute the department and this fabulous CHIEF!

Thank you to my Blue family in NYC who have phoned to see if I am buried under the snow. Chiefs Tommy Burns/JoeFox, both retired but still caring for their BLUE family, Marie D, line of duty, Lt.
Bourne, the list goes on. Keith began his lasting journey 17 years ago, and I am still included, and cared for. All I can say is it was my lucky day when Keith joined that department. BTW the call about my welfare in this crisis, comes in the wake of the numerous January 31st calls. I have learned a great deal about caring, sharing and service.
It was definitely my lucky day when Keith took that test and joined NYPD. Blessings, LOVE AND GRATITUDE on all my Blue family members. πŸ˜πŸŒˆπŸ™πŸŒ·πŸ˜˜

BTW, I had none of horrors experienced by other areas in Texas. Water, electricity, and gas, along with more food than I need, considering my personal storage of fat.

I am humbled by gratitude to all the members of my BLUE family who shared messages of support, love, and kindness. I have said since the start of this journey, I am the luckiest Mother on the planet. Today is the 17th anniversary of Keith's exit and the beginning of his planetary exploration. I remain awed by the messages of support I receive each year. Listing a few, Tracey Jones, Chief Fox, Dave Isakson, Keith Arce, Commissioners, Ganley, Perez (retired) Bobby Z, Anna founder (thank you NYPD), Captain Ethan Penny the list goes on. I LOVE MY BLUE FAMILY. BLACK LOVES BLUE YES I DO. BLACK AND BLUE FOREVER. THIS IS A STATEMENT OF LOVE NOT POLITICS.😍πŸ₯°πŸŒˆπŸŒ·πŸ˜˜πŸŒΊ

A very grateful THANKS to all who supported Keith's 5K for 14 years. The August 2018 race was the last. The gracious support of runners/walkers/donors, and volunteers enabled us to achieve our goal, to create an Endowed Scholarship in Criminal Justice, and an Endowed Professor of Criminal Justice, at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley, where I taught for many years. The scholarship has been supporting students for 10 years.

In 2018, Dr. Gordon Crews Chair, and Professor of Criminal Justice, was selected as the first Keith A. Ferguson Endowed Professor of Criminal Justice at University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. He began his occupancy of that position in the Fall of 2018.
A simple thanks seems inadequate for what I was able to accomplish with your support. I will continue working in the educational arena to improve and support Criminal Justice, and other disciplines to improve outcomes for all.
COLOR ME GRATEFUL, THERE IS NO ONE ON THIS PLANET MORE GRATEFUL THAN I.😘
