According to the research from Columbia Business School, men tend to overestimate their abilities by something like 30%. And it's not that they're faking this confidence, they genuinely believe it. On the other hand, women tend routinely to underestimate their abilities and their perception of talent skews lower than actual worth. They called this phenomenon as 'Confidence Gap'
