Spooky Season is upon us and a ghost story used to haunt the streets of Flatbush 👻

Melrose Hall, situated at Bedford Avenue and Winthorp Street until the early 1900s, was considered one of the most heavily reported haunted houses in Brooklyn.

According to legend, the owner hid his mistress in a secret chamber and the only enslaved servant who knew of her existence in the house, passed away leaving the mistress trapped to death.
