🧀Important Murray’s business update below, please read carefully! 🧀
To our dear guests and neighbors,

We are writing to let you know of a few changes to our businesses in the coming weeks. Murray’s Cheese shops on Bleecker Street and in Grand Central Market remain open with revised hours at our Bleecker Street from 10am-7pm. As questions of food scarcity arise, we are committed to keeping our food shops open to serve you; and limiting our hours will allow for enhanced daily cleaning, and more time for our staff to care for themselves and their families. Our shop’s full service kitchen will begin to deliver The menu through and menu through Grubhub, , and starting Tuesday, 3/17.

We have made the decision to close Murray’s Cheese Bar (), Murray’s Mac & Cheese (), and our classrooms and event spaces (including ) for at least the next two weeks. Serving our guests and sharing food together inspires us each day, however, as we learn more about the importance of social distancing, we believe that it is our responsibility to our community to do what we can to limit non-essential interactions.

Our teams are the backbone of all of our businesses and it is our priority to take care of them. We are giving an additional two weeks paid leave for employees whose work is impacted by these business closures, and will continue to re-evaluate what we can do for compensation, and other types of support as we learn more. Additionally, we will continue to support health insurance which includes access to mental health support.

We face a challenging new reality, but our decision to close these businesses for now is a longer-term investment in our family: our teams and our customers. We are sad to not see you for a while, but ours in an act of hope, bolstered by a stubborn belief in the resiliency of New York, of our communities, and of Murray’s history on this block. We make this decision with hope and the certainty that we will see you again soon.
