The Film Festival from MARS features media made by New York City students in Special Education. Video allows kids to connect to community - to be seen *and heard! Our aim is to promote filmmaking as a vehicle for meeting the educational, emotional, social and developmental needs of students. Engaging children in filmmaking allows them to create culture, information and entertainment so their perspectives and talents can be celebrated.
