My dream has become a reality as Producer and Director of this marvelous Production. This one’s for you Jack❤️❤️🌹.In addition to Jack being my mentor, he was also my friend—and if I call u my friend—I mean it, and I do not throw the word around lightly—because in this tough world, friends are not easy to find. One of my favorite things about this play, is thru Jack’s incredible writing, it shows what life is like as we get older— and sometimes the older we get the more challenges we face, such as possible divorce, financial hardships and health declining—however, Playwright Jack Dyville puts a fresh spin with humor, charm, lots of laughs and not giving up—all in the backdrop of NYC in 2004 (yes of course dropping lots of Broadway references too, which was soooo Jack). And an important theme that if we have a friend, we can get thru anything 🥰. I hope to see you at the show we have been rehearsing since December, and actors Gus and Candice have been working so so so hard. Also if you knew Jack personally, I know it would mean a lot to him. GENOVEVA PRODUCTIONS IS COMING TO THE PRODUCERS CLUB!!

We are so honored to have this once-in- a- lifetime opportunity to bring the words of my friend, mentor, talented playwright, Jack Dyville to life:)

I know most of you are familiar with this play--as it has had a few previous productions of the original full length version and a shorter version as well.

But if this is the first you're hearing about this heartfelt story--here's a small synopsis:

Set in 2004, this play explores the friendship of two of the most unlikely acquaintances Edith Lovelind, a former Broadway chorus girl and Edgar, a NYC café proprietor/fry-cook, and father of three. As the play progresses, we see signs of Miss Lovelind’s bout with Dementia. Meanwhile, Edgar is going through a separation from his wife of 22 years. And he learns some valuable lessons from his new friend, lovingly known as Miss Lovely. Their friendship was as unlikely as her need for a Red Umbrella in the Crystal White Snow.

WONDERFUL THINGS AHEAD for FACT THEATRE as we continue into Spring and our 10th Remarkable Year in NYC.
We want to welcome back everyone that ever stepped into Friends Always Creating Theatre and to invite New Actors, Directors & Playwrights to Join the Commaradrie. If you are just starting out in NYC, we provide a safe environment where you can develope your talents.
My sincere thanks to our Board of Directors who last night put together Exciting Shows for April, May & June.
We will do the TAKE TEN Festival with a short 10 minute play of mine, never produced, SPECIAL DELIVERY, Directed by Julia Genoveva. Assisted by Gus Ferrari. Dates/place to follow.

AND HERE'S THE ONE YOU'VE ASKED FOR ... The Return of WORDS&WINE READING Series in a new and improved version in mid-May facilitated by Vicki Oceguera and DaeMynn Stevens. We will be looking for Playwrights, & Actors.

Then the First Week in June, FACT Will Toast the New York 50th Anniversary LGBTQ PRIDE CELEBRATION with an evening of 2 One-Hour comedies served-up with a couple of cocktails. Facilitating this from our Board, Lynn Manuell & Paul Fraccalvieri. Location TBA.
