First things first: CONGRATULATIONS! 🎉
Whether you're a seasoned pro or this was your very first 72 Hour Shootout, you accomplished something remarkable: you made a film in just 72 hours.
Seriously. Take a moment to appreciate that.
In three short days, you brainstormed, wrote, organized, filmed, edited, problem-solved, adapted to the unexpected, and crossed the finish line with a completed movie. That's no small feat. Regardless of what happens next, you've already achieved something many people only talk about doing.
A little housekeeping:
✅ If you submitted your film AND received a confirmation of receipt from us, you're all set!
⚠️ If you submitted your film but did NOT receive a confirmation of receipt, please contact us IMMEDIATELY. No confirmation means we did not successfully receive your submission, and we want to make sure every eligible film is considered.
Now comes the fun part...
Your films are heading to our judging panel, featuring industry professionals from organizations including ABC, Sundance, and more. They will be screening and evaluating your incredible work over the coming weeks.
In the meantime, we have an important assignment for you:

📸 Share your behind-the-scenes memories with us.

The Grand Prize Winner, 1st Runner-Up, and Individual Award Winners will be announced at our live Film Festival and Awards Event in New York City this August, with updates also shared online through our social channels.
