What lies beneath New York’s waterfronts? An urban walk, architecture and design, public conversation, moving image and art workshop trace the city’s water from hidden infrastructure to cultural and civic space—where climate, public health, ecology, and everyday urban life converge.

Vienna-based Endless Flat Studio, founded by designers and architects Müge Du and Stephan Sammer, explores form, light, material, and space through collectible design and sculptural lighting.

Their Serpentine collection draws inspiration from Göbeklitepe and its abstract snake carvings, translating these fluid forms into sculptural lamps that connect earth and sky. Each piece combines handmade Japanese paper shades with hand-shaped stainless steel bases, crafted by Müge and Stephan in their Vienna studio.

Former McLaren designers João Dias and Patrick Carton just launched Element 01 under their new studio, Ennua.

This piece redefines functional art. Rather than disguising structure, its carbon fiber frame doubles as both the load-bearing core and the visual signature. Merging high-precision automotive engineering with sustainable materials like BioPRO foam, Ennua proves that true luxury lies in absolute purpose—where every single line must justify its existence.

Emerging Designer Spotlight by ICFF and Clever : Nick Trudel

“Design is one of the few places where you can actually practice optimism.”

Featured in Edition 06 of the ICFF Emerging Designers Spotlight (presented with CLEVER), Nick Trudel of Juba Concepts creates “objects for dreamers.”

His highlighted piece, the TL-1 luminaire, embodies a philosophy of restraint and slow living. Rather than demanding quick attention, Trudel’s work uses tactile materiality and hands-on manufacturing to create pieces that reveal themselves over time. Currently expanding his lighting collection, he proves that beauty and care for the planet belong together.
