Like a solo Bach line, music wove its way through Sept. 11 remembering on Sunday. Pockets of people formed in halls and churches around New York to hear musicians form the consorts of consolation.

Thank you all so very much, all who came, participated, gave. It was overwhelming, to say the least, and (at least for me) turned a day of confusion and anxiousness into a day of community and excellent across-the-board music-making.
