The DeRose Method is collection of techniques and concepts emphasizing quality of life, fulfilling human relationships, culture, good nutrition and optimal health. Some of the tools used are breathing re-education, stress management, and organic body techniques to improve muscular tone and flexibility as well as other techniques utilized to achieve emotional relaxation and mental concentration. All of these tools ultimately aim to increase consciousness and self-awareness.

We led a really fun activity last year called Human Bingo. Participants got to interact, learn about one another, and laughed a lot while they were at it! We have the privilege once again to have Professor Rogerio Brant teaching at our event this year. He is a long time professor in our network, and is now based in TriBeCa, New York! He will be teaching about how to sculpt the human being and give powerful classes. We asked Rogerio what he is the most excited about this year with our event, and he said:

We are honored to have Professor Gustavo Oliveira teaching at our event for 7 consecutive years.
He is the Director of DeROSE Method TriBeCa, Board Member of the Global DeROSE Method Network, and has been teaching since 2006.

Gustavo says that:

"it is always a great pleasure to be part of the DeROSE International Festival New York, the most international event we have in our network. It is challenging, exciting, and I have the chance to develop new friendships and partnerships. Looking forward to it!".

This year, Gustavo will be teaching about meditation and mindfulness, as well as emotional intelligence.

Professor Fabiano Gomes is coming back to NYC this year!

He will be talking about Purposeful Leadership in our Self-Knowledge Talks Series next month, and will also give a lecture on "Focus defines Luck".

Fabiano has been teaching since 2003, he is the President of the DeROSE Method Rio Grande do Sul Federation in Brazil, and also the CEO of Fabiano Gomes School.

What does Fabiano think about the importance of self-knowledge? He shares with us:
"people do not have the extraordinary life they crave for lack of knowledge, but for lack of self-knowledge."
