チーっす、もとBPMのタクヤです。
Yesmaaaan,
日本にまた帰ってきました。
最近NYではすっぱり先輩になってしまって、若く才能のある奴らとばかり演奏してたんですが、久しぶりに日本の同輩／先輩方と演奏します。
まず日本のレゲー先輩、外池満広（Dry&Heavey)とのシンセサイザーデュオ、”シンセサイザーサンシャイン”
そして府中高校軽音楽部で、ボクをこの音楽の道に引き入れてしまった縄文スペースドラマー”つの犬”との”スターレーンズ”
さらにこの１０年間ブルックリンでの、ぼくのガイダンスのサトルイトウ先輩との”マリアンヌ”
スペースロックで始まり、後半はトイケさんとのシンセサイザーサンシャインでレゲーパーティーです。

後３日ほどあるんでこれに加えていろいろな方々も登場して欲しいんで、よろしくお願いします、自己申請でも良いです。

この人たちはちょっとすごいんでがんっばてやりますよ。

東京都出身 ミュージシャン、プロデューサー。

ニューヨークを拠点にしQuincy Jones, David Byrne, Lee scratch Perry, Gza(of Wu Tang Clan), DJ Shadow, Cocorosie, The Streets, George Russell's Living Time Orchestra, Arto Lindsay, Vernon Reid(Living Color), Jojo Mayer's Nerve, Brazilian Girls, Organic Grooves, など様々なジャンルのミュージシャンとの活動に参加。

幼少時からトランペット、キイボードを演奏し始め１０代後半からジャズ、テクノなどに傾倒, 今日の日本のジャズを担うことになる菊池成孔、五十嵐一生、角田けん、東京スカパラダイスの北原雅彦、塩谷さとるらと、新宿、六本木pit innなどで演奏を始める。

１９９０年ジャズコンポーザー、ジョージラッセルに師事するためアメリカ、ボストンに渡りその後NYに拠点を移し現在に至る。

トランペット、サンプラー、シンセサイザーを駆使し、ローファイなアナログサウンドからハイファィなデジタルサウンドのあたらしいブレンドのダブ、ジャズ、テクノを含めたユニークなスペースサウンドを作り出している。

９０年代後半からジョジョマイヤーらとナーブや様々なバンドで世界中をツアーし、
２０１２年よりココロージーに参加しヨーローパ、アメリカを中心に活躍している。２０１３年、ウータンクランのジザー、さらにダブマスター”リー・ペリー”などのNY公演に参加する。２０１４年、Bill LaswellのMOD Technologiesから アルバム”Helio Parallax" をリリースし、アメリカ、ダウンビートマガジンのベスト２０ニューアルバムに選ばれる。
現在NYで活躍中のBrooklyn Gypsiesにメンバー、プロデューサーとして参加、
アラビック、スパニッシュフラメンコ、バルカンミュージック、テクノサウンドを融合させたサウンドを作り上げ、２０１５年４月にWonder Wheel Recordingsよりアルバムを発売する。

Hello everyone. We hope all of you are well. This year on March/11th is going to be 3 years since Japan's earthquake and tsunami happened... Unfortunately we as studio BPM for Japan won't be able to host a fundraising event as how we used to have around this time. But we are supporting this amazing memorial by "together for 3.11" on March/9th Sunday. Please check this out and if you have time, please join this memorial to pray and wish the better future for all of us.

THIRD ANNIVERSARY MEMORIAL
FOR JAPAN’S EARTHQUAKE AND TSUNAMI VICTIMS

It is now three years since the Great East Japan Earthquake overpowered Japan on March 11, 2011. Yet large areas remain devastated, and unexpected new problems are emerging. Many people continue to mourn the loss of loved ones. Many still live in temporary housing, or can never return to their homes. Many remain traumatized, living in fear of an uncertain future. At times the situation seems overwhelming… But on this day, let us gather once more and remind ourselves, "Do not forget these stricken areas or these people." Let us pray again for the many souls who were lost in the earthquake or who suffered from the subsequent hardships. During this third memorial event, we will see and hear video letters from people in the affected areas. We will reflect on their lives and send them our prayers. Our message is, "We have not forgotten you. Together we will overcome these obstacles and help Japan recover."
