Everyone say hi to Imogen Baber (), Line Cook at Eleven Madison Park ()!

Imogen Baber grew up just outside Brighton, with a family that really cared about food, growing all of their own in the countryside. She spent a few years at Acorn in London, but working at Eleven Madison Park, her first Michelin-starred restaurant, pushed her out of her comfort zone and helped her build confidence as a cook. Along the way, she spent a year in London learning West African cuisine at Akoko, trying new techniques for entirely plant-based dishes. Her dinner on June 4th is fully vegetarian.

Chef Jordan Frosolone (), Executive Chef of Borgo (), nominated Kevin () because he’s never standing still in the kitchen. And if he doesn’t have a job to do, he’ll go find one. That kind of attitude stood out to Chef Jordan immediately and made him hope that Borgo would be a place Kevin wanted to work.

Jordan spent 10 years as a line cook before moving into management, and he’s big on building kitchens rooted in camaraderie.

Come taste the dishes Kevin’s been developing in the basement of Borgo in his free time next week, May 21st. We hope to see you there!
