On July 11, 1991 a total solar eclipse occurred and was visible from Mexico, Hawaii, Central America, Colombia and Brazil. From Mexico, the Sun stood nearly overhead during the total phase which lasted nearly seven minutes.

Good news: Analog Mania is returning in 2026 with its 14th edition, dedicated to the Bicentennial of Photography! 📸

This year, we’re preparing the “Traseul Analogic” photo-audio micro-residency, the Cultural Ambulance, the Analog Experience workshops, and the multimedia exhibition “Timișoara Stenopeică,” a project about analog photography, sound, and the city’s memory.
