Burn off the holiday calories at the Turkey Day Beach 5k on Thursday, November 26th beginning at 8 a.m. The Turkey Day 5K is appropriate for all ages and runners and features participant medals for all runners, as well as finisher medals in 84 categories and two overall plaques–and prizes for the best Thanksgiving-themed costumed runners!

Joggers, walkers, kids, and families are all welcome to this event. And best yet, the award ceremony, costume runner prizes, and a Post-Race Social will take place after the race.

It’s time to take flight at the Flagler Avenue Beach Approach. – the widely popular New Smyrna Beach Kite Festival returns Saturday, November 21st and Sunday, November 22nd from 11am to 3pm.

Join us for scores of tethered kites, kite demonstrations, competitions and displays form multiple kite clubs across Florida. We will be giving away over 700 free kites to be personalized at decoration stations along the beach. Kite club volunteers will be on hand to help first-timers with quick lessons!

New Smyrna Beach is celebrating everything rock and roll November 19th through the 22nd with the New Smyrna Beach Rock and Roll Music Festival.

Over a dozen acts are set citywide throughout this three-day festival and includes multiple band meet and greets plus plenty of free giveaways.

Every performance throughout the festival is FREE – no cover charge – though some locations have a minimum age admission of 21 and up.

The most 'quacky' race is on! Rubber Duckie River Run & Ride will take place November 15th beginning at Fortunato Park and ending at the Rockefeller Gardens on beachside in Ormond Beach. This 5K run or half-marathon bike ride is ideal for everyone of every skill level. Come have some duckie fun!
