This is a page designed to encourage the education on the loquat tree and its tasty fruit in the state of Florida. The loquat tree and its fruits bring last joy to those who have the fortunate to know about it. This annual event is used to educate Florida citizens on this grand tree known as the Loquat Tree.

*Peanuts – Tennessee Valencia
*Eggplant
*Peppers (Bell) – Choco Bell. Green color then ripening to rich brown color
*Pigeon Peas
*Tomatoes – MesoAmerican Minis

You can see young plants in the EMG Gardens if you like. Just send a message to the nursery for an appointment.

* We are nearing the end of the summer planting season. By the end of the month, summer crops like okra. Black eyed peas, and peanuts will likely not produce much. Some, to be sure, but not heavy production . September will be best for starting peppers and tomatoes.*
