✨ Learn from a master + TICKET GIVEAWAY ✨
Tray Wellington, Grammy-nominated player and recipient of the 2024 Steve Martin Banjo Prize, is leading a hands-on banjo workshop at BlackAmericana Fest, and we're proud to be its sponsor. Friday September 25, 6:30 to 7:20pm on the Elizabeth Cotten Stage.

It's beginner friendly and all are welcome. Bring your banjo and a learning attitude, or just come and listen. This is how the tradition stays alive, passed one player to the next, the same way it always has been.

💫 Meet the artists of our Sister Rosetta Tharpe Main Stage!

Join us on Saturday, September 26 at the Sister Rosetta Tharpe Main Stage for performances from:

Robin Barnes, the acclaimed "Songbird of New Orleans," is a Billboard Top 10 charting artist whose powerful voice bridges jazz, funk, soul, zydeco, Creole traditions, and Louisiana’s rich musical heritage.

The Lilli Lewis Project is willing to traverse any musical terrain, bearing the spirit of a time when everyone still seemed to believe music could change the world.

Dusky Waters is the nom de plume of contemporary Americana songwriter and musician Jenn Jeffers, an artist whose work bridges the rich musical traditions of the South with a modern, genre-defying sound.

Jeffery Broussard & the Nighttime Syndicate is an all-star group that delivers a bold sound that honors Black Americana roots by blending the traditions of Acadiana accordion with the New Olreans Brass.

The Kentucky Gentlemen, twin brothers Derek and Brandon Campbell, bring a fresh perspective to country music through powerful storytelling and undeniable harmonies.

Seratones, led by powerhouse vocalist and songwriter A.J.Haynes, blends rock, funk, psychedelic soul, disco, and electronic influences into a sound that is radiant and deeply rooted.

Gullah Geechee Ring Shouters, are internationally known throughout the world for its unique historical and educational performance, in places like Canada.
