In 2011, after years of neglect, the Civic was transformed through an extensive and meticulous renovation effort. The goal was to preserve the building’s architectural character while introducing state-of-the-art AV technology and an innovative hydraulic flooring system that allows for multiple configurations. Today, the Civic is alive and kicking once again as one of the South’s premier venues. Like New Orleans, the Civic is living history, a place where memories get made.
