@ the Mollohan Center in New Martinsville, WV. You may practice between noon and 12:45. Baby Miss 0-12mths Tiny Miss 1-2yrs Little Miss 3-5yrs
Young Miss 6-8yrs Junior Miss 9-11yrs Teen Miss 12-14yrs
There will be six age divisions. There will be 2 Girl
Supremes (0-5yrs and 6-14yrs). Each division will have a Queen & 1st runner-up. Beauty wear: You may choose the kind of dress that you would like to wear. Judges will be instructed to judge not so much on the dress/outfit, but how the child performs in it. Judges will vote on a best dress side award. That being said, there will be a variety of dresses that will range from sun dresses to pageant gowns. The only dress not allowed at this pageant is the glitz cupcake dresses. Each girl will appear on stage and model her dress or his outfit. Then each girls ages 6 and up will be asked a couple questions on stage for their interview portion. Judges will be judging on poise, beauty, grace, stage presence, and interview. Ages 5 and under will not have an interview. NO flippers, Hair Pieces, Spray Tans, or Heavy Makeup. There will be 5 side awards given out in each age division: Best Dress, Prettiest Hair, Prettiest Smile, Best Personality, and Most Photogenic. Queens will receive a sash, tiara, and trophy. 1st runner-up will win tiara and trophy,. Halloween Wear: This is the modeling part of the pageant. You can buy or make your Halloween Wear. If you choose you can make up a little routine for modeling your Halloween Wear, but it must be less than 70 seconds. Each division will have a "Halloween Wear" and there will be an overall "Halloween Wear
Most Photogenic: There will be a "Most Photogenic" awarded at the pageant. There will be one for each age division and then an overall "Most photogenic". Please send your photo with your application so that a winner can be determined before the pageant. It will be judged by individuals from out of state who do not know any of the pageant contestants. If you have a digital photo you can send it to me through email. The photo can be a color or black and white/snapshot or professional photo. It must be a good quality picture. The first photo is free and additional photo’s can be sent for $5 each. Pictures should be no smaller than a 4x6 and no larger than an 8x10. There will be a buddy supreme award given to the two buddies 0-14 whose combined scores are the highest. There is a $5 fee for this competition and not required to compete in the pageant. We will have a fan favorite award given to the contestant. Money can be collected outside the pageant and brought in to place in your bag. $1=1 vote. If you would like to participate in Fan Favorite, please decorate a lunch bag or gift bag and bring with you. You will have the opportunity to sell good luck wishes for the Pageant Program. You can sell Good Luck Lines for $5.00 You can also place your child’s photo with a good luck wish in the program for $10.00 All money must be in by Oct 1st for the Good Luck wishes. This is not required, it’s just your friends and families way of saying GOOD LUCK! What is Halloween without trick or treat? After each contestant does their Halloween Wear, they will be given a bag to trick or treat! Please bring one bag of candy to the pageant with you for the contestants. J
If you email me your pageant form you need to either sign the form and scan it, or you need to type your name on the signature line. This pageant is for your children to have fun and meet new pageant friends. I will not tolerate any unsportsmanlike conduct. If I witness any unsportsmanlike conduct your child will be disqualified without refund and I will ask you to leave the pageant. All applications/fees must be in by Oct. 8th so that I will have time to order all the awards that will be given out at the pageant.
