🔥 INSTRUCTOR ANNOUNCEMENT 🔥

We are excited to welcome **Jim Bordwine** as an instructor at **EJ Snyder’s Uwharrie Survival & Outdoor Expo**!

Jim Bordwine is a living history educator, storyteller, and traditional salt maker from **Saltville, Virginia**, with deep family roots in the region dating back to the **1770s**. A retired pipefitter and longtime reenactor, Jim has spent decades preserving and sharing the history, traditions, and survival knowledge of the Appalachian Mountains.

Jim is passionate about teaching old-world skills and the importance of salt throughout history, especially in preserving meat and sustaining life before modern conveniences. His presentations bring Appalachian heritage to life through storytelling, hands-on knowledge, and a deep respect for the people and traditions of the mountains.

He is also the author of **“Hauntin’ Tales of Jim Bordwine, Mountain Man,”** weaving together the history, legends, and haunting echoes of Appalachia.
