St. Patrick's Day Parade New London March 15, 2026 at 1 pm St. Patrick’s Day Parade in New London, CT where“Everyone Is Irish for a Day” It will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m.

The parade’s theme is “Everyone is Irish for a Day.” The committee is thrilled to announce that this year we will resume our tradition of “marching” through the streets of downtown New London. The parade, which is sponsored by the City of New London and the Downtown New London Association, will be held on Sunday, March 16,2025, and will take place RAIN or SHINE. at the New London Waterfront Park

and South Water Street, proceed down the Bank Street Connector, take a right onto Bank Street to the reviewing stand on the corner of Bank and State Streets, go left onto State Street and left onto Washington Street where the parade will end.

The parade steps off at 1:00 PM, and this year we’re bringing the energy with 6 incredible marching bands plus amazing participants from across the community.

☘️ We’re excited to share that The Gray School of Irish Dance will once again be part of the New London St. Patrick’s Day Parade! Again this year, the talented dancers will have the special honor of carrying our NL St. Patrick’s Day Parade banner as they march down the route.

Gray’s Irish Dance School has been a wonderful part of the celebration, bringing tradition, and Irish spirit to the parade. Be sure to cheer them on and enjoy the amazing dancing as they help kick off the festivities!

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Margaret Mary“Peg”
Curtin.
A beloved leader, mentor, and friend to so many, Peg’s impact on New London will be felt for generations.

Peg proudly served as a Past Grand Marshal of the New London St. Patrick’s Day Parade, and as a former Mayor of New London, she dedicated her life to public service and to lifting up our community. Her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to others made her a mentor to many and a true pillar of our city.

Rest in peace, dear friend.
Thank you for the leadership, and light you brought to New London. You will be deeply missed. 💚☘️
