Anyone have children interested in meeting up for Utopia in person games throughout the summer? I'm thinking once a week, early morning before it gets too hot. These wouldn't start until about the second week in June. If so comment ages and which days work best for you.

We had a fun time to wrap up our year in the lunch break hour. We made a rain cloud while talking about the water cycle. We learned about experiments, and how to conduct them, to learn about salt melting ice. We also made catapults to launch our "snowballs". We also had movement, which included more soccer skills.

We had such a good time on Monday. We did soccer drills, scratch leaves and learned about capillary action. Join us for our last one of the year December 4th.

We had a good time yesterday at our lunch break. We did science: floating ghost, and popping ghosts. We loved wrapping mummies and we even had a special guest, Snow White, who stopped by to do the fun run with us. Mark your calendars now to join us next month, November 13th.

Today at 11; Quinton Park, $10 per child
Bring a packed lunch or snack.
We will have crafts available, movement followed by weighing pumpkins and seeds, and some popping ghosts to learn about chemical reactions.
This is geared towards elementary aged but older kids are welcome to come and participate or help out. This can be a drop off event, or hang out with your younger kiddos at the playground

Don’t forget the first session is this Monday. It’s rock themed and we will make edible rock layers so not recommended for kids with food allergies.
We will start with movement, bring a packed lunch or a snack to have before the rock lesson.
$10 per child, recommened for elementary age but you be the judge. Hope to see everyone Monday.

Welcome to the Homeschool Lunch Break Hour. Once a month I will offer fun, two hour sessions where you can drop off your homeschool child/ren, or stay and walk the park and chat with fellow moms all while I keep them busy with different activities. We will meet at Quinton Park on specific Mondays from 11am until 1pm. Registration is required and there is a $10 per child, per session fee. No commitment, come to one, two or all sessions, whatever works best with your schedule and needs.
