🌾 WHERE YOUR FESTIVAL DOLLARS GO
The Louisiana Sugar Cane Festival & Fair is proud to support the schools and student organizations that help make our festival possible.
We believe in giving back to the young people and organizations that participate in our parades and festival activities.
For the 2026 festival, we provided $7,300 IN DIRECT PAYMENTS💰
🏫 $3,850 — Participating Schools
Schools attending festival activities receive a monetary donation to support their students and school.
🥁 $3,450 — Participating Parade Bands
Financial support is also provided to the middle school and high school bands participating in our Children’s and Royalty Parades.
These payments are one of the ways your support of the Louisiana Sugar Cane Festival directly makes its way back into schools and student organizations.
From purchasing a ticket, attending a Fais Do-Do, buying ride tickets at the fair, becoming a sponsor, or simply showing up for a parade — your participation helps us continue giving back.
Thank you for helping us keep this tradition growing.
