As Washington Crossing Historic Park approaches the 250th anniversary of General George Washington’s Crossing of the Delaware, our focus this year centers on transformative initiatives and once-in-a-lifetime commemorative programming. This milestone presents an extraordinary opportunity to elevate the park experience, invest in meaningful site enhancements, and create events that reflect the historic significance of this anniversary.
With that focus in mind, Brewfest and Wine on the Waterfront will pause for 2026. These events have been incredibly fun and meaningful traditions, and this break allows us the space to thoughtfully reimagine them with an eye toward returning in 2027 in a refreshed and exciting way.
In the meantime, we invite you to be part of something truly historic. From major restorations like the rehabilitation of McConkey’s Ferry Inn and capital upgrades to the Thompson-Neely Grist Mill, to dynamic visitor experiences like the Durham Boat Project and an enhanced 2026 community celebration for Independence Day, there are so many 2026 initiatives to look forward to. The countdown to 2026 is on, and we can’t wait to share this milestone with you: https://tinyurl.com/5e5rwy5a
