The Jazz Collective promotes a community of music education and exposure on and beyond Yale's Campus and lobbies for a formal jazz curriculum at Yale.

The Jazz Collective promotes a community of music education and exposure on and beyond Yale's Campus as well as lobbying for a formal jazz curriculum at Yale. We organize numerous free concerts, jam sessions, talks, masterclass, and more. Furthermore, every year we organize the Jazz Festival at Yale, a student-run celebration of jazz. We have brought in artists from around the country to perform for and educate Yale students. Please like us to stay updated on our range of free jazz events!

The YUJC is a student run non-profit organization that serves as the primary entry point for Yale students to join the jazz community on campus and in New Haven. Our mission is to expand the accessibility, education and performance at Yale and within the New Haven community by hosting open jam sessions, running a subsidized lessons program, and organizing concerts with premier artists. This year’s annual Jazz Festival At Yale was a three-day weekend packed with performances from students🎶, the GRAMMY-nominated Patrick Bartley 🎷, and New Haven legend Jeff Fuller🎻.
