Civil War Weekend Presented by Steam Into History, Civil War Weekend is a 3 day event held in various locations in Southern York County commemorating the Civil War.

Civil War Weekend, presented by Steam Into History, will commemorate the history of the American Civil War, with a 3-day schedule of events and activities designed to bring this engaging era to life. The first annual Civil War Weekend will be held on the last weekend in July of 2016, with authentic experiences including:

-Dancing Demonstrations
-Sunday Church Service
-Sunday Brunch
-Train Rides Ongoing Throughout the Weekend! Immerse yourself in the clash of Confederate and Union troops, and use the William H. Simpson #17, our remarkable replica of a Civil War steam locomotive, as your source of transportation throughout the weekend. LOCATIONS INCLUDE:

-Hanover Junction
-Ruins Park (Memorial Hall)
-Railroad Park
-Marge Goodfellow Park

Activities and events are open to participants of all ages. Special registration will be required for re-enactors. Tickets will be available for one-day passes or all-access weekend passes. PARTICIPATING ORGANIZATIONS INCLUDE:
