Haunted Acres Open dates are Sep 26th and Oct 3,10,17 and Fri & Sat Oct 23,24,30 and Halloween night the 31th!3 attractions of fun and fright! Parking is free.

Lots of new stuff this season including 80 more feet added to The Devils Playground. Haunted Acres is A haunted attraction in a real farm setting located in Stony Lake. Field of Screams is a haunted corn trail! zombies..clowns..witches..its hard to tell what you'll run into in there! Over 10 acres of fun and fright await you there! Vertigo is a visual attraction and is all blacklight lit and use

s lasers and sound to add to the experience. 3d glasses are worn to mess up the senses! The Devil's Playground, Built on the ruins of the old barn here, it's full of all kinds of evil, fun stuff!! We have lots of fun photo ops too! Food and merchandise available on site. Haunted Acres welcomes you so come on down and see what fear really is!! All three for $25! Gates are at 8pm and close ticket sales at 11pm.

Happy 160th birthday to a Michigan classic!

Detroit is bringing back something that hasn't existed since the 1980s, and all you need is a free afternoon on June 14.

Vernors Ginger Ale is turning 160 years old, and the celebration is happening right in Eastern Market on Riopelle Street from 1 to 4 p.m. The Vernors Club and local partners are throwing a full birthday bash for what is widely considered America's oldest surviving ginger ale brand, and the lineup is worth the trip.

There will be historical exhibitions, an appearance by Woody the Gnome, Boston Coolers, and the one thing longtime fans have been waiting decades for: Vernors Ice Cream is coming back. It has not been available since the 1980s, and it will be at this event.

The whole street comes together at 3:30 p.m. for a community-wide toast to the brand.

If you grew up in Michigan, Vernors is not just a soft drink. It is something your parents gave you when you were sick, something you mixed into floats at family gatherings, something tied to a specific kind of memory that does not exist anywhere else in the country. A 160th birthday feels like the right moment to raise a cup.
