If any of my Veteran friends in the Lawrence or surrounding counties, would like to come out to a fantastic event please come visit us. You won’t be disappointed in everything else that is provided at this event. We’d also ask you to share this widely for our veterans.

Rich is a repeat offender of the best kind. He has repeated his own fishing experiences over and over again. We’re grateful because he’s repeated his time on the water with us. Allowing us to touch up, critique, help improve his techniques. Most importantly, he allowed us to share in the laughter and the beauty of the day.

It’s always great when clients are successful in landing a fish. Especially their very first time out on a stream, that is not very forgiving both in its size and if it’s lack of fish at times. But I think we can agree when there’s a smile it’s been a good day. Thanks Joe Burton for making their day, full of knowledge and kindness.

Anyone in the WPA area we created an event that’s educational and fantastic for anyone interested in theory and practice as an introduction to the sport. Low cost, comes with lunch, and we have stream access for demonstrations and hands-on.

If the outdoors becomes a place that you go to get away from the most important people in your life, the outdoors is no longer sacred. It may have become “the other woman.“ Don’t let that happen, if you’re a man and you’re seeing this use the outdoors, creation, as path to refuge for your entire family. In a nutshell, bring them with you.

On a cool sidenote, the fish in the upper right I caught only movements before my wife caught the same fish. One one on a nymph and one on a dry.

Spring had not quite sprung yet. Didn’t stop the fishing though.

One of the locus of our programming will involve fly fishing and tech. We are grateful to announce our partnership with On Water. Provided to all participants will be a link that offers a substantial discount and trial to what I think is hands-down, the best app for those serious about managing their fishing trips, understanding their fisheries and so forth.
