🦌🌿 Committee Spotlight: Wildlife Committee 🌿🦌

The Comal County Fair & Rodeo isn't just about celebrating our agricultural heritage—it's also about honoring the great outdoors and the wildlife that make Texas special.

Our Wildlife Committee works hard to promote wildlife conservation, education, and appreciation for the natural resources that play such an important role in our community. Through their dedication and volunteer efforts, they help connect fairgoers of all ages with the importance of preserving our Texas wildlife and outdoor traditions.

Whether you're an avid hunter, outdoor enthusiast, or simply love nature, we invite you to stop by and learn more about the incredible wildlife that calls Comal County home.

Join us September 23–27 as we celebrate the traditions, heritage, and natural beauty that make the Comal County Fair & Rodeo a cherished community event.

🌟 Member Spotlight: Kim Ballard 🌟

Please help us welcome Kim Ballard, one of the dedicated leaders behind the Comal County Fair and Rodeo! Kim serves as the Commercial Exhibits, Finance, and Master Planning Chairman, helping ensure our fair continues to grow while honoring the traditions that make it so special.

When asked what the fair means to her, Kim shared:
“The fair is more than just an annual event to me. It is a time to gather and celebrate the New Braunfels agricultural community and honor the deep roots of local heritage, community resilience, and the century-old ‘happy memories’ of our traditions—connecting us to our past members and participants.”

Why does she volunteer? For Kim, serving with the fair is personal.
“Volunteering with the CCFA is a way to connect me to my roots and directly support the mission of the fair—promoting agriculture, preserving Texas heritage, and making a difference in our local community.”

💛 Volunteers like Kim are the heart of the fair, carrying forward traditions that make the Comal County Fair and Rodeo a place where generations come together to celebrate community, heritage, and agriculture. Join us September 23–27 and be part of the tradition!
