The New England John Deere Expo returns to New Boston, NH August 26-28, 2016. The weekend-long event features antique tractors and fun for all ages. Our name has changed to CLASSIC TRACTOR EXPO as we are expanding to include antique tractors of all manufacturers and colors. Sponsored by the Northeast Two-cylinder Club, the event takes place on the grounds of the Hillsborough County Youth Center,
Route 13, in New Boston, NH. Antique farm tractors from bygone days, as well as parades, competitions and working equipment demonstrations are featured. You don’t have to own tractors to enjoy the event. Go back in time as you view the antique tractors and working demonstrations will show how the tractors and equipment were used by farmers and others through the years. The weekend-long event will also feature:
-A children’s area with pedal tractor games, activities, a fun sand pile, a farm animal petting area and more;
-Tractor pulls;
-Tractor games;
-Tractor parades;
-Seminars;
-Vendors with antique tractor parts and accessories, clothing, toys and various items;
-Huge Raffle & Silent Auction;
- Chicken Barbecue (additional charge);
-Food vendors offering a large selection of food and soft serve ice cream, slush, frappes and sundaes. The event opens Friday, August 26 and runs through Sunday, August 28. to 8:00 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5.00 per person; children under 12 are admitted free of charge. There is ample free parking and the grounds are accessible. Proceeds from the Expo benefit the non-profit event sponsors and are used to perpetuate the event and provide education of our agricultural heritage.
