The 12th Annual Springfield Marathon & the Harvest Wind Half Marathon & 10K is Nov. 9th. We still have a few slots for the marathon and half.

Here's the distribution stats for the marathon of runners from Illinois. The majority of participants are from out of town. This is really good for our economy!

Illinois participants:
Under 50 miles: 27.38%
50-100 miles: 14.29%
100-150 miles: 7.14%
150-200 miles: 17.86%
200+ miles: 14.29%

Our county roads and fields create amazing skies. Here's a couple of pics from the start line about 8am on race day. The weather was great and so were the paraticipants. It was probably the best weather we've had on Columbus day weekend for the race. Put Columbus Day weekend on your calendar for 2024 and run our Half Marathon or 10K. Danenberger Family Vineyard is the home of the 2022 Half Marathon. Last year we called it the Springfield Half Marathon and now it's the Harvest Wind Half Marathon & 10K. This location makes for an awesome run on a fall Sunday morning. Great food, drink and entertainment go with this event. Come join us! There's a price increase after March 19th. Sign up soon!
