🏃🇺🇸 The New Berlin Junior Woman's Club invites you to kick off the 4th of July Festival with the annual Storm the Fest 1-Mile Run & Walk on Thursday, July 2 at Malone Park!

Whether you're running, walking, or cheering from the sidelines, this family-friendly event is a great way to celebrate America's 250th birthday and the start of an unforgettable holiday weekend.

A special shoutout to the talented students at School District of New Berlin, who designed and printed this year's commemorative event t-shirts. We're proud to showcase their creativity and support local student talent.

✅ Open to all ages and fitness levels
👕 Commemorative t-shirts available for purchase while supplies last for $7
🍦 Free ice cream for the first 150 youth participants, courtesy of the New Berlin Lions Club.

Check-in begins at 4:30 PM, and the run/walk starts at 5:00 PM.

Honor someone special this 4th of July

For just $5, you can donate a commemorative American flag to be displayed at the Veterans Memorial during New Berlin’s 4th of July Celebration in honor or memory of a veteran, active service member, or loved one.

Flags can be purchased online through http://apm.activecommunities.com/newberlin/Activity_Search/7725
or in person at the ARC. Participants are also invited to share a story and photo of their hero for a chance to be featured on the New Berlin 4th of July page.

Bring your best fruit, apple, cream, or specialty pie and compete for prizes sponsored by Sendik’s Food Market. Judging is based on appearance, creativity, crust, filling taste, and texture.

Help New Berlin celebrate 250 years of America’s birthday by spreading a little joy! We’re partnering with the New Berlin Food Pantry to collect supplies to create Birthday Cake Kits — including cake pans, cake mixes, frosting, and candles — to share with local families. Donation sites include the New Berlin Activity & Recreation Center (ARC), New Berlin Community Center at Hickory Grove, New Berlin Public Library, and City of New Berlin City Hall.
