Greetings, racers, crews, and fans. We want to address the news that is going around regarding Keystone being sold :
Yes, it is true.

Al Lynch has been leasing the track for the 2026 season from Michael Tedesco, owner of the property. Michael has entered into an agreement to sell the track. At this time, we do not know the buyer, or the buyerโ€™s intention for the property. We hope to negotiate an arrangement with the buyer, if possible, for another season via a lease agreement, but there is no guarantee the buyer will be open to such a deal.

We wish Michael all of the best in his future endeavors, and thank him for breathing much needed life back into Keystone when he purchased it towards the end of the 2001 season.

We will update our plans as they solidify, and once there is information to share. Your support and kind words this season has been greatly appreciated. We hope to see you at one of our remaining events:
The SPE Motorsport test and tune on October 10.
The Headless Horsepower Shootout October 16-17.
or our annual Halloween themed bracket race October 23-25, Ghosts, Goblins, and Gearheads.
The 2026 racers banquet at The Lamplighter November 14.

Sunday, September 27 results for the Keystone/PID Nostalgia Nationals presented by GIS Automotive are below. We just beat the light drizzle that would have at least delayed racing, getting the last final round of the weekend in minutes before it started in the afternoon.

UMTR Street Stick (1/8th mile), sponsored by Firecore Performance Products and Deb Helsel:
W - Allan Beechey, '23 Challenger, 8.60 dial, LB3A RT, 9.7455 ET, 80.76mph
R/U - Jeremy Murray, '85 Plymouth Horizon, 9.63 dial, -.0195 RT, 9.5514 ET, 74.31
Jeremy may have had the most fuel efficient race entry of the weekend, but red lights first for the loss, Allan leaving before the 3rd amber and getting the win.

Quick Stick (1/8th mile):
W - Colton Kirchner, '76 Monza coupe, 5.51 dial, .0036 RT, 5.5536 ET, 116.55mph
R/U - Ronnie Ward, '79 Mustang, 5.79 dial, .1060 RT, 5.7773 ET, 117.86mph
Colton was laying down laps all weekend, and breaks through for the win with a great light and a .042 package to lock out Ronnieโ€™s wheels up launching Mustang.

Box (1/4 mile):
W - Ron Hamill, '68 Camaro, 10.12 dial, .0178 RT, 10.1164 ET, 130.32mph
R/U - Josh Rietscha, roadster, 8.67 dial, .0105 RT, 8.6652 ET, 136.99mph
Great race! Just 7 thousandths of a second is the difference in reaction times, Josh slips around Ron to take the finish line by .0085. Both are just under their dial ins, and in the double breakout, Ron gets the win by .0012!

No Box (1/4 mile):
W - Billy Farrell, '74 Pontiac Ventura, 11.04 dial, .0506 RT, 11.0455 ET, 118.27mph
R/U - Josh Rietscha, roadster, 8.80 dial, .0222 RT, 8.8804 ET, 129.72mph
Josh is in his other โ€œslowerโ€ roadster for No Box, and has .028 on the tree, but does not cover his predicted dial in, Billy going right on the dial to take the win by .046.

Nostalgia Stock/Super Stock (1/4 mile):
W - Andy Baron, '68 Dodge Dart, 11.35 dial, .0355 RT, 11.3335 ET, 119.59mph
R/U - Bill Krause, '63 Dodge Coronet 330, 10.75 dial, -.1895 RT, 10.8837 ET, 122.95mph
Andy was killer on the .400 sportsman tree all day in his 440 powered Dart, and Bill pushed too hard in his 426 Max Wedge Coronet, jumping it red.

Old Farts(1/4 mile), our affectionate name for a class dedicated to racers who are 60 and older:
W - Ralph Edwards, '20 Challenger, 11.83 dial, .0029 RT, 11.8787 ET, 115.18mph
R/U - Rick Garden, '69 GTO Judge, 10.09 dial, .1318 RT, 10.1304 ET, 132.12mph
Street car versus drag car, and it is all Ralph, locking out Rick with a .051 package, and taking the win by a car length.

Saturday, September 26 results for the Keystone/PID Nostalgia Nationals presented by GIS Automotive are below. It was a great day of racing that started at 11am Saturday and ended 12:30am Sunday.

Nostalgic Notions (1/4 mile):
W - Travis Eisentrout, '61 Chevy Biscayne, 11.40 dial in, .1717 reaction time, 11.5518 elapsed time, 114.56mph
R/U - Siri Ellis, '67 Buick 4 door, 14.40 dial in, -.0530 reaction time, 14.4355 elapsed time, 93.28mph
Siri turns it red in her more-door Buford, Travis getting luck to fall his way when he missed the tree and goes a tenth a half over his dial in.

UMTR Street Stick (1/8th mile), sponsored by Firecore Performance Products and Deb Helsel:
W - Don Palm, '69 Mustang Boss 302, 9.38 dial, .0687 RT, 9.7138 ET, 54.04mph
R/U - Brandon Margo, '89 Mustang, 7.35 dial, .1081 RT
Mustang versus Mustang, with a 20 year age gap. Brandon lets the clutch out to chase Don, and the car revs up but only moves a few feet thanks to a broken rear end. Don is looking over his shoulder and coasts through for the win. Don's car is a legit Boss 302, and it had been 45 years since he last raced it. His sons, nephews, and family friends all are Mopar racers, but he bought the Mustang in 1971, raced it for a bit, and retired it. It has a 351 under the hood, with the original 302 on a bench in the garage.

Quick Stick (1/8th mile):
W - Dan Hoyler, '89 Mustang, 6.49 dial, .0427 RT, 6.5010 ET, 105.12mph
R/U - John Whorton, '71 Nova, 5.45 dial, .0733 RT, 5.4488 ET, 125.10mph
Dan was laying down packages like he delivers for Amazon, and locks out John in the final with another one, .053 total to John's .073 RT.

Box (1/4 mile):
W - Dave Pagliai, '79 Mustang, 9.85 dial, .0118 RT, 9.7759 ET, 136.53mph
R/U - Tyler Vislosky, '70 Duster, broke
Tyler had the bye to the final, and was making the pass when he had to abort. It turned out to be the transmission. Dave gets the win, and lets it all hang out in the 4-eyed Fox body.

No Box (1/4 mile):
W - Vinny Argiro, '40 Plymouth coupe, 10.43 dial, -.0059 RT, 12.9891 ET, 60.96mph
R/U - Mike McCune, '73 Duster, 10.90 dial, -.0166 RT, 10.9511 ET, 119.52mph
Vinny's Plymouth is not geared for the 1/4 mile, so he was masterfully combining a spot drop with driving the finish line, and takes the parade lap down the track after Mike left too soon and lit the red eye.

Nostalgia Stock/Super Stock (1/4 mile):
W - Mike McCune, '73 Duster, 10.95 dial, .1406 RT, 10.9786 ET, 118.95mph
R/U - Aaron McClelland, '68 Dart, 9.85 dial, .1165 RT, 9.8233 ET, 131.89mph
Mike, after losing in the No Box final, comes right back into the lanes, and after his cool down time, goes into his second final of the night. Aaron has the slight advantage on the tree, and passes Mike to take the stripe by .079, but breaks out by .0267 to make Mike the winner.

09/28/2026

We are still in awe of just how fantastic this weekendโ€™s Keystone/PID Nostalgia Nationals was. We were hoping it would be a good weekend, and wow!! It started Friday afternoon, hours before the gates were scheduled to open for the SPE Motorsport test and tune. Cars and trucks with trailers were getting backed onto Route 22 in both directions and we opened up early to keep everyone safe. With the perfect weather, many racers at the test and tune were out to set their personal bests, or get ready for Saturday and Sunday. 190 different cars went down the track Friday night!

Saturday morning, we had a steady line of cars and tow rigs moving through the gates, a mix of fans, racers, and car cruise entries. When we started racing at 11am Saturday, we didnโ€™t stop until 12:30am Sunday. Sunday we started at 10am and dodged the rain, getting the last final round in minutes before a light drizzle Sunday afternoon would have caused us a delay at the very least.

Our full race results and winnerโ€™s circle pics will be up in a day or two. In the meantime, we have many to thank for this incredible weekend:
* Our presenting sponsor, GIS Automotive and owner Mark Gissendaner for making the weekend possible with their support.
* Jim Senkewitz and Bill Truby for the volumes of history, both physical in Billโ€™s pictures, and their shared memories and knowledge of PID and Keystone drag racing history.
* The show cars - Nostalgia Pro Stock, Altereds, front engine dragsters, AA Gassers, and Nostalgia Funny Cars - for wowing the crowd with long, smoky burnouts, driving skill, quick elapsed times, and big MPH!
* Home Display Pyrotechnics for the wonderful fireworks display, a length and quality that knocked it out of the park!
* To our track crew. Similar to the roadies that Jackson Browne refers to in his song โ€œThe Load Outโ€, they are the first to come and the last to leave. Days are spent getting the track and grounds ready for an event of this magnitude, and hours are spent before the gates open, and hours after the last pair goes down the track. Nothing happens without each and every employee at KMP doing their job and functioning as a team, and what an incredible team you are!
* To every racer, crew member, car cruiser, and fan who came through the gates. We truly value your support and are so very grateful that you chose to spend your precious time with us.

We have 3 events at the track left in the 2026 season, and hope to see you at one of them!

Brothers pairing up on the No Box side, good lights both sides, good race, Joe kills a bunch of mph, takes .01, but breaks out by .0019.

$5k final:
W - Mother Nature
Lou Greco had 2 entries with his GTO at the quarterfinals, and carried one to the $5k final round where he was slated to meet the Dodge Demon of RJ Politowski, but the rain moved in to end the day.
