Join us for our livestock auction. It’s a great opportunity to show the youth, hard work is rewarded well.
They will be selling pigs, cows, rabbits, chickens and other livestock intended for consumption.
The meat chickens are butchered by the youth who grow them and then delivered to the buyer.
Large animals are sent to a butcher and you pick the cuts of meat you’d like.

Bring the kids out and watch our youth show their animals they have been working with over the past year.

The youth in 4-H learn how to care for their livestock and raise them up to show at our fair. They are very proud of their accomplishments and love showing the community all about them.

This is what our 4-H fair is really about.
The carnival and vendors schedule will be out soon as well. We work very hard to bring as much fun to the community as we can as a volunteer committee.

The Corporation Board helps create the foundation that allows 4-H youth to succeed. By supporting facilities, finances, volunteers, and community partnerships, the board helps provide:

Leadership opportunities for youth
Educational experiences and projects
Safe and welcoming environments
Affordable participation opportunities
A strong and sustainable 4-H fair and 4-H program

In short, the board works behind the scenes to make sure Floyd County 4-H has the resources and support needed to continue helping young people grow into confident, capable leaders.
