Let’s talk about it. We know the number gives some of y’all pause. And we get it — booking a venue is one of the biggest line items in your whole celebration.

But here’s what we want you to understand about The Prologue: we are not a standard venue. We don’t hand you a set of keys and an empty room and wish you luck.

When you book us, you’re booking ease. You’re booking The Salon — intimate, intentional, made for the kind of gathering people remember. You’re booking The Jardin Courtyard, where the light hits different and every photo looks like it belongs in a frame on your wall.

You’re booking a team that’s already three steps ahead of you. Setup handled. Flow handled. The little details nobody warns you about? Handled.

That’s the luxury. Not just what you can see — the linens, the greenery, the soft glow when the sun goes down — but what you feel. The exhale when you walk in and realize you don’t have to carry it all yourself.

So yes — what we offer costs what it costs. But ask anyone who’s stood in this space when it all came together. They’ll tell you the same thing.

The question couples forget to ask: “What happens if it rains?”

You found the dream outdoor venue. The courtyard, the open sky, the golden light. But here’s what nobody tells you — if there’s no real backup, “we’ll figure it out” becomes a frantic scramble three days before your wedding.

At The Prologue, the rain plan is handled before you ever have to worry about it. If your guest count is 75 or under, we simply move the celebration indoors to The Salon — beautiful, ready, and dry. For larger weddings, we work closely with our tent partners at to cover The Jardin, so you keep the open-air wedding you’re dreaming of without the last-minute panic or peak-season pricing.

Either way, the pivot is ours to make — not yours to worry about.

The best rain plan is the one you never have to think about.

Let’s clear something up, friend.

Your venue coordinator is not your wedding coordinator. And knowing the difference could save your entire day.

Your Venue Coordinator (that’s us at The Prologue) takes care of the space. We make sure the doors open, the lights are on, the AC is right, the tables and chairs we provide are set, and that everything inside these walls runs like it should.

Your Wedding/Day-of Coordinator takes care of you. They manages your timeline, cues your processional, communicates with every vendor, bustles your dress, hands your mama tissues, and gently moves 150 of your favorite people from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception without a single hiccup.

One takes care of the place. One takes care of the people, the plan, and the personal details.

You need both.

We’ve watched too many beautiful couples assume their venue coordinator would run their day — and we love y’all too much to let that be a surprise on the morning of. A day-of coordinator isn’t a luxury. They’re the reason you actually get to be a bride instead of running your own wedding.

→ ceremony in The Jardin (our 4,000 sq ft open-air courtyard)
→ cocktail hour in The Salon while guests mingle indoors
→ our flip team resets The Jardin behind the scenes — usually in under an hour
→ reception back outside under the stars
