Moving forward, I will be gradually phasing out the use of these individual race pages. The Yuba Gold, Sonoma Coast, and BABU pages will continue to exist for tagging purposes, but all relevant info will be posted via the Skybreaker Racing page. Simply put, I am doing this to make my life easier. Thanks for your understanding.

The final price increase for Yuba Gold Trail Runs will occur this coming Monday, August 5th at 12:00 am (Sunday night at midnight).

The courses this year have changed quite a bit, but the new courses are beautiful! They still traverse much of the iconic South Yuba Trail and add climbs and descents of Humbug Trail, Missouri Bar Trail, and several fire roads. They also provide a tour of the historic hydraulic mining town of North Bloomfield, which, during the height of it's operation, was pumping out 100,000 gallons of water per day! Come check out the water cannons, the old cemetery, town site and bare cliffs left behind by the those who were struck by gold fever in the mid-1800's. 50k'ers will also see what remains of the ventilation shafts along Humbug Trail. These connected to an underground tunnel - the means of transporting water downhill and away from the mining town.

Important announcement!

After 3 months of working on this, I've finally secured a permit for a brand new trail running event in Sonoma Coast State Park, on Northern California's beautiful coastline, just south of Jenner and the Russian River!

Event: Sonoma Coast Trail Runs

Distance Options: 30K, Trail Marathon, 50K

Date: Saturday, June 8th, 2024

Notes for Yuba Gold 2023 entrants: Your 75% race credit can be applied to this event. Alternatively, I'm also now working on permitting for new courses for Yuba Gold Trail Runs, 2024, tentatively slated for October 5th. If you'd prefer to use your credit towards Yuba Gold, 2024, this will be an option as well. I'll keep you posted on this.
