A huge thank you to the incredible Nevada County Search & Rescue team for volunteering their time and support for the Heart of Gold Gravel Race. 💛🚴‍♂️

They’re out around Nevada County today in their bright fluorescent orange shirts raising money to keep their life-saving work going.

If any of our local riders or community members spot a Search & Rescue team, please take a moment to stop, say hello, donate what you can, and let them know Heart of Gold says THANK YOU.

🚴‍♂️ We know you’ve been waiting for Leg 2… and it’s finally here! The Heart of Gold Bike Race picks up steam as riders dive into one of the most thrilling and historic stretches of the course.

Explore the preserved ghost town of North Bloomfield, grind your way up challenging climbs, and descend through sun-dappled forests filled with Sugar Pines and golden ferns. The ride takes you past the legendary Edwards Crossing, where the Yuba River roars beneath one of Nevada County’s most iconic bridges.

This isn’t just a race—it’s a ride through time, nature, and endurance.
